Fort Worth Museum of Science and History: Week 02

This week I had the opportunity to do lots of different things, including preparing for special events such as "Maker Studio" and "Famapooloza". Every weekend during the summertime we open our "Maker Studio" for guests ages 8 and above. The theme for this weekend was, "It's Electric!" In the Maker Studio space we had a "Take Apart" station and"Make Art" station. During my time in the space I was tasked to note observations and document experiences through photographs. By doing this I had a chance to step back from the hustle and bustle and notice the small things with guest and team member interactions while polishing my photography skills.

The preparations for our second event provide opportunities to sit in and participate in formal meetings with other museum departs such as marketing and graphic design. As well as a chance to get crafty while preparing templates for one of our evening activities.

This week definitely reminded me a lot of that Thursday night before our Friday group presentation. I've experienced another round of the human emotion rollercoaster, but I know it'll be worth it. I'm so excited to see how it all turns out this weekend!

Hasta la próxima semana familia!
