Arte Américas - Week 2

This week at Arte, I was assigned the task of going through the museum’s library and organizing as well as researching some of the works.
Here at Arte there are many very old books and magazines that could come in handy to any researchers who are looking for rare and valuable works. The only problem is that, we are not really sure what works we actually have. That is why I am going through them and making an inventory sheet. So that researchers can easily find what they need.
Here at the museum, we also need to pull information from these resources ourselves. They are really coming in handy this month as preparations for the new history exhibit are still in motion. We use this collection of knowledge that the library has to offer to contribute to the new exhibit a lot.
Sometimes I make photo copies of important pages that contain valuable information that could contribute to the history exhibit. (pictured above)
This week at Arte has made me feel like a part of the team, and I am so grateful for the opportunity to contribute to the latinx community at such a progressive organization.
